oh, golly. i hate public speaking, don't you? its horrible standing in front of so many people, trying to talk as formally as you can and...their eyes! their horribly piercing eyes that just stare right back at you. why do they have to stare at you? cant they just pass out the second i start my speech, leaving just mr. rutherford to mark my speech. and then once i finish they all just wake up? why is it never that easy? oh well, tomoro there's chem quiz so hopefully half the class is gone so there's less eyes staring back at me =]

and then there's history! which was not so bad, but literally, that assignment was painful. this is my webpage and it took forever to do! all that editing on html.
i only noticed how much i was leaning in to the computer screen when i sat back and my back just went beserk. it was fully aching =/ but its alright now =D
while html is so fun because your like "yeh i totalli know what im doing, im so pro at this stuff" some of the stuff is so hard to find and figure out.
but when you finish its all worthwhile. you can sit back and just admire the work you did.

it just comes to show that all your hard work pays off. while you're struggling through watever you're doing, you always think about giving up. but then you push on and finally finish it. when you look at your work you know you've gone hard out 100% and thats the best you can do. although it may not be 100% perfect, thats okay, because no one is perfect. everyone needs flaws so that they can get better and better. to be able to look back at something and say its not perfect, but it was my best effort, is great.

eddie reminded me before that we're getting laptops this term. is anyone as unexcited as me? im so not looking forward to carrying it around everyday back and forth from school to home to school.
sif we're even gonna use it at school, we don't even use the smartboards. ==


by the way i found a skill! its a ceramic arts course, so like decorating ceramics. i started on tuesday and its pretti fun! what you do is you get a pre-moulded piece of clay (and some are so pretti like animals, flowers, vases, different sized plates, different shaped plates, argh so pretti) and then you practically do watever you want with it.
carve it, paint it, scratch it, watever. and some paints are so noice.
after that you fire it, glaze it, and fire it again.
and in the kiln when its being fired, theres a special paint called a mask that kinda goes 3d when fired. so like it pops up and you can feel it =D
and one glaze, crystal glaze, when you paint it on its like random bead-like dots everywhere and then in the kiln the beads burst open and it creates like splotches of colour in one spot and there's various colours to choose. its so awesum.
i shall take pictures when i finish my first job =D


and and im not sure if i can tutor at james an because they cant decide which classes i should take cuz im onli available on saturdays. i might be able to sub for daniel hwang because he cant make it this saturday, but they still haven't called me. and also, it pays $8 and hour haha. == but still....its money =P
