Let's Elaborate

let's elaborate on the previous post.

so i started getting sick on buffer week and was like "oh no i can't talk and i have to sing at variety night! what do i do?"

BUT soon that was resolved because we werent even on the list even though ms mac told us we got in after we auditioned. so at least that resolved two things: i didn't want to go to school during the strike on thursday to set up for variety night and my throat was terrible so i didn't have to sing. but it made me soooo super angry and annoyed, at how she said we made it then didn't put us on the list and when we asked her she said we didn't make it because "we were under".

pffft and then on thursday i have like just woken up and eaten breakfast and pratheep and srisha call me saying that we are performing and have to come to school....

i was like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat and got even more annoyed, especially cuz she kicked out pratheep and arjuna's band who was on the list.

gosh, she has terrible organisation skillz.


anyway, exam week came up and i felt pretty prepared for maths. it actually wasn't that bad, it's just that it was hard for a 2unit paper. then after maths i had to hardcore cram everything from legal into my head but it turned out alright, i made up like 3/4 of the answers and yeh...think i did okay...

after that was english...i found it quite alright, i mean the essay was pretttty broad (for me at least, because i knew the whole play and actually prepared unlike others), the one thing i'm not too sure about is if i answered the question throughout my paragraphs, but i just kept chucking in the keywords of the question randomly in, but seriously it WAS pretty darn broad.

then came physics. oh dear.
i think EVERYONE can vouch for me when i say that that test was amazingly difficult. seriously, gosh...i felt so prepared for it and then i looked at the test and was just like WAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?! i mean half the questions weren't even elaborated on in class...*sigh*

the next week came and there was 3unit maths, and i fully thought i did terrible in it because i skipped 8 marks of questions, but was somewhat reassured because joyce behind me kept swearing throughout the test so i knew i wasn't the only one struggling. then i found that a lot of people actually skipped more marks than me and was a bit surprised. but i wasn't surprised at all when damien said he didn't skip anything... ==
but yes, i dunno if i can make 4unit at this rate, fingers crossed (even though i don't believe in that).

after that was chemistry on tuesday morning, which was semi hard and semi easy. like there wasnt anything that i didn't actually not know i don't think, but i'm not actually sure if my answers were right, if that makes any sense (and it probably doesnt)...so: easy in that i knew the stuff they were testing us on (unlike physics) but hard in that i wasn't sure how to properly answer it or whether my answer was even correct.

then tuesday afternoon, my last exam eva for year 11 was ancient! yay ancient! i actually do love ancient, but i hated how we had to learn 4 different areas of troy when they would only ask us on one area for our essay...that was so annoying. and for boudicca only 3 out of 4 areas were tested on.

the thing that terrified me the most in ancient (and terrified everyone quite frankly) was the suggested length for reponses:
-5 mark: half to three-quarters of a page
-10 mark: two-and-a-half to three pages
-25 mark essay: three to four pages

okay so the essay was alright...the 5 mark was alright though from our previous tests and even from school cert i got used to 8-lined 5-mark questions...
but the 10 mark?!?!?! i was like WAT two-and-a-half to three pages?!?!
and there were TWO 10 mark questions! i freaked out so much because i wasnt sure if i could write everything in 1.5 hours! but luckily i actually did stick to the suggested lengths, i think mainly because my handwriting got sooooo big, and pretty much finished exactly on time- as in i finished writing then read over all my responses once then it was times up.

yikes.

and i am so worried i didn't answer the questions properly...but not much i can do about it now...


yeh i think i've elaborated enough...

oh after that on friday there was year 12 grad which was pretty awesome...after that i watched johnny english reborn but that can wait for the next post...

Dear Sickness

Dear Sickness, I have known you for exactly two weeks, with you coming into my life on the Sunday of Buffer Week. Life with you has been hard: I have no been able to study as efficiently as I would have liked, my throat on several occasions felt like sandpaper, I feel weak and thus I was (and still am) unable to exercise and thus I cannot lose weight, you have forced me to eat the things that are neither healthy nor nice to eat, and I am sick and tired of your favourite place being the toilet. Please...go away.

yehp, today marks the two-weekiversary of me and my sickness...it actually seems like so much longer than two weeks...i think its this non-stop studying and revising and studying and past-papering that has been going that just slows time down by ageeeees

hmm so so far i've finished: maths, english, phys.
now i have 3maths, chem, ancient.

fun.

so worried for all of them tho... =/

and phys i failed it...like everyone else...

and i'm relli tired so i cannot be bothered to continue typing...
