hmmm there hasnt been much going on lately, except that gradelove has died.
today i worked a massive shift, 10-6 and the gayest thing ever. i had my lunch break at 3. ==
so retarded. i hate some of those customers. they like have no idea wats going on. seriously if you're going to come to live here, learn english for goodness' sake!
i do not want to spend 10 minutes trying to explain the concept of YES you DO have to still pay when it's a buy 1 get 1 free voucher. i don't want to spend 10 minutes listening to you speak chinese when clearly, no one understands wat you are saying. i don't want to spend 10 minutes trying to tell you that when you pick up your cake, just say your name and the type of cake and they will get it for you.
honestly. its so frustrating.
and i hate it when i say HI ARE YOU ALRIGHT THERE to customers who are looking at the thing, and then they look up, make eye contact with you and look down again. then they walk away, when i could have been serving another person. at least have the courtesy to smile or nod or wave a hand at me or LET ME KNOW if i can serve the other customers waiting! seriously. i greet you with the biggest smile you have ever seen and you cannot bother to do anything? then you simply walk away from the shop!?
sheesh.
its also so weird how many times ppl will come back to have coffee. seriously i saw some customers several times a day. i was like i just served that person 2 hours ago, wat on earth is happening.
and gosh. my boss raised the coffee prices by 20c. its so weird. i have to refrain myself from saying the old prices and then i have to manually type in the prices instead of just hitting the S, R or L buttons because their values have not been changed yet. and then customers give me that look like *sheesh why is it so expensive, are you ripping me off* and then i feel bad.
but on the bright side. i had lunch at that 'more than a sandwich' cafe outside coles, next to midori, opposite muffinbreak, and i had a chicken schnitzel sandwich and boy was it good =]
