Sherlock and Drawings

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

HMMM

this movie was good, but the first movie was SO MUCH BETTER. the first movie SET THE STANDARD for awesome movies, so i guess i can't blame that the second movie was bad. without comparing it to the first movie, it was still pretty good. it was a good movie. the beginning maybe two-thirds of it was quite boring and i was like wat just happened? why do they talk so quickly and in such british accents gosh i can't understand them, its so choppy etc. but the end third was quite intense and quite good.

hmmm...not much else to say

drawings:

Day 12: Most Recent Accomplishment

what a paradoxical topic, because won't the drawing itself be your most recent accomplishment? but anyway i started reading frankenstein so that was my accomplishment

Day 13: Comic

i'm not a very funny (or creative) person, so my comic isnt that funny (or creative), just something i've been contemplating for a lot of my life

it's hard to see what it says, so:

top panel: "wow, this photo looks so different to real life!"
which branches into left and right panels:
left 1: "ever wondered, maybe our eyes are naturally impure and alter our views?"
left 2: "so when you see pictures that look fake, maybe that's how they really look?"
left 3: "so everything you see now is a complete lie!"

right 1: "ever wondered, how cool it would be if we had a camera but like a contact lense to take a photo of exactly what we see when we wear it?"
right 2: "but that wouldn't work because its the lens that focuses your eye to see what it sees, the cornea doesn't do anything"
right 3: "what if you hooked a camera to your retina then, so the image you see can be captured?" (and this is said by the dude on the left btw, i forgot to add the line to show the speech is coming from him)

and these two converge back into
bottom panel: "...nah, that's stupid"

yes, it's not very funny, but comics don't have to be funny. these are things i seriously contemplate just randomly in the shower, in bed or just when i have nothing to do.

Day 14: Favourite Fairytale and Day 15: Family Picture

for the fairytale, i didn't know which one to pick! joyce said to do the one that left the most impact on you... i still didn't really have one that ever left such a deep impact on me, but i think the little mermaid did an alright job at it because she gave up EVERYTHING to be with the guy she loved. and then when i found out the original, heart wrenching, tragedy of the original fairytale, i realised she gave up EVERYTHING for literally NOTHING in return... it's sooo depressing =[

plus, ariel is beautiful.

for the family picture, it was late at night, i was tired, i was lazy, i drew stick figures. forgive me.

Day 16: Inspiration

yeah i had no idea what my inspiration was, i don't usually have one but i thought of Romans 3:23-24. I couldn't fit the whole verse in but what i did fit was good enough.

i haven't drawn today's one yet... i'm trying to think of some plants.. hmm.. it's hard.
