running out of headings.
finally borrowed the time traveler's wife from the library and i read the prologue, even though i told myself i shouldn't read otherwise i would get sucked into it instead of study...buuuuuuuuut oh well. =]
it's good and i can't wait to finish it and watch the movie XD
and speaking of exams...oh gosh, they are slowly catching up to us. two weeks ago i was like yeh thats alright two more weeks. one week ago: yehhhh thats alright i still have two weeks left. today: yeh man two more weeks to study...oh wait...
... this sucks.
nah but i think science will be alright, i've been studying hard...at body balance. hopefully this doesn't go to waste and motion and plate tectonics will be pretti straightforward...hopefully.
maths... *sigh* i hate doing revision sheets, i'm totally not in the moment and when i am in the moment i make silly mistakes anywai. winona, how do you do it =[
food tech, i'm like oh golly do we really need to know this stuff?
history...i think that's alright, but i still haven't learnt anything about the impact of the war so if we have an extended response on that... =S
uhhh... english... haha. i'm gonna try and not fail like i did with the short films essay... but you never know... i'm not memorising this essay word for word so i dunno how good it'll be.
and screw geo, no one cares about geo, that's why it got lonerised to the second "week" of our exams, all by itself in the lonely corner.

genius #6: the zipper
seriously when have you NOT zipped something up without going "how does it WORK"?!
like how do the teeth actually close together and then unclose just by pulling something up and down it! i seriously just think that it's fascinating and magical! i mean i know there's like no crazy stuff going on in there like some mini elf just clipping them together, but its just genius that you can't actually interlock the teeth by yourself. you need that zipper thing! that's crazy. it's so simple, the two sides just interlock, but WHY can't we do it ourselves! it's so bizarre and confuzzles me all the time.
Gideon Sundbäck was the Swedish genius behind it back in approximately 1906.
Don't you just wish you could go back in time and invent something? I mean look around you, i think we've exhausted all possibilities. sure there's gonna be new stuff like iphones or 3d televisions but i mean something that will just change everyone's life. the iphones just another version of the phone, and the 3d television is just another version of the television. but i mean something that has like no relation to anything that's invented and something that will just make everyone go crazy! i mean yeh, there's talk about hovercars even though the they tried making one and it hovered like a metre or so above the ground. or in movies where they have teleporters, but seriously that's just another excuse to be obese.
i would continue, but it's too much of a rant already.
by the way, welfare day was awesum.
