nice meeting you again

wow, it feels like i haven't blogged in ages! so, finally got back geo, history and english.

geo (high) 42/50= 84%
history (low) 37.5/50= 75%
english (high; the only wrong assumption i made) 16/20 and 20/20 which makes 36/40= 90%

i guess history isn't that low...but its under 80% and so quite low in comparison to my other ones... and gosh, the history assignment, wow i failed that. but you're probably thinking, hey EVERYONE failed that... but no seriously... i probably did one of the worst in that.. oh golly. my history report mark, as i calculated, is gonna be like 64%. even though average is only 72%, that still sounds like an epic fail mark.

but it's okay, because i aced english!! XD
i can't believe i got 36!! that's crazy. especially because i got 20/20 for my essay, but i think that's just luck because my marker, who i THINK is arblaster, is pretty lenient (i mean she has to be if she gave me a 20) and i got the same marker for short films, and the only problem for short films was i didn't link back to the question. so in the shakespeare essay, i was like "okay i have to link back ALL THE TIME", and some teachers don't like that, so i think i was very very lucky that way. also, in the sense that half my class is marked by van loon and half by whoever marked mine, and van loon marks like crazy so thank gosh i didn't get him.

sorry, long rant there.

hmm, what else has been happening in my life apart from exams? hmmm... hmm... let's face it, i have no life. nothing's happening.

oh OH i'm going creative arts fest and trivia night (yayyy) so come!! because it'll be awesum fun.

oh and happy birthday to: will, ching and alice! =]

genius #12: cake, scrambled eggs, the lot
hmm, one of the things that people take for granted is food, as in... unnatural food. think about it. cakes are SO easy to make right, so easy to consume, so easy to imitate and alter. but how hard do you reckon it was to create the actual recipe for it?! like who was the genius that said "hey im gonna just randomly add this flour with some milk and eggs, oh then i'll bake it, yeh that'll be awesum.

or for that matter, pizza dough? pasta? noodles? scrambled eggs? why did people separate eggs? why the heck did people whisk egg whites? why did they whip cream? gosh seriously. so many mysteries. i am fascinated by them. another thing that strikes me is how did someone discover how to temper chocolate! that's just madness. no one has that amount of spare time on their hands!
