but no seriously, i'm so sick of school. we still have 3 more weeks of this torture to get through and then HOLIDAYS!!
argh okay but before i get through these 3 weeks, i'm gonna have to get through that pile of irrelevent homework/assignmenting such as: stupid history source work where we have to practice writing responses like we will for school cert (which NOBODY cares about), science database (although that's finished we still have to do that in class test thing- gay.) and practice essay for poetry.
*sigh* seriously i cant believe that only 2 months have passed by this term. i reckon we bunched up all the exciting stuff in term 1 and so in term 2 everyones like... oh what do we have to look forward to? half yearlies...yay? and then now, we don't have any camps/excursions/long weekends so were like omgsh *die*.
but hmm i was so close to not going to school on thursday, cuz i was like oh golly im sick/lazy/cbb. but then i was like noo cooking, noo other stuff which i forgot.
but trivia night was fun! italian mimes ftw. go momma alice and children. we rock. =] but seriously, we got notable mention, i mean that's gotta be worth SOMETHING =D
oh and we came 12/25 but dude. abusalim. winona's group. we totally owned you. man in your hearts you know we beat you =P
well we would have anyway if we actually listened to alice's answers, like half of which were correct but we didn't write down. hmm, oh well. better luck next year (we'll own you all).
okay so wat i have planned for this weekend: nothing. actually, thats not true, on monday i'm gonna go formal dress shopping with my mum (end of financial year sale =] although i'm not even sure if the shops are open on public holidays) and yeh. hmm holidays i wanna host a sleepover for world cup finals =D
btw who watched the opening ceremony? pretty dodgy quality but i guess...wat do you expect. some of their stuff was awesum tho. like their beetles that they made look like they were real i was so amazed by that! also the thing where the dust came out of that bowl thing (which from birds' eye view looked like the ring from lotr)and also when they made the shape of africa and the rest of the world and then turned the stuff over to represent footsteps. that was awesum.

hmm i think i got this off diwan. these things are pretty cool, and i really like the sound they make. they also feel pretty....satisfying...or is that just me and my weirdness?
k, so how it works is, it has this ratcheting system with a gear rack thats kinda zig-zaggy so you can only slide it one way. if you try to push the other way you will find that it is blocked. but i guess the downside of it is that its REALLY hard to open. and then your like omgsh how do i do this? you get a pair of scissors but because its so thick you cant cut it and then your like omgshhhhh then yeh. but who uses these awesum things for the purpose they were designed for anyway? pshh
wow, some places even use cable ties as "makeshift handcuffs" and one product, plasticuffs, have been made based on the cable tie design, for handcuffing people. although on wiki, there are far more disadvantages of it than advantages.
