oh wow. that last post was the 100th post! =O madness.
too bad i didn't realise.
BEFORE I FORGET-
you know those world cup glasses? okay i got everything except pink, but i have a spare blue. so if anyone has a spare pink and wants blue, pleaseeee trade. i have ocd i must have all colours.
anywai, on monday (don't you just love public holidays) my mum and i went to eastwood and i bought a formal dress!!
i know, i know, relli early don't you think? but i relli liked it and it was on sale and i tried it on and i got paranoid (what if the next time i come here its sold out? then i'd NEVER forgive myself!)
but yeh. i need to alter it at the waist and the straps are a bit long. and then it'll look awesum. =] so now i just need to get some heels and i'm all set to go. XD
yes, it looks better when its worn. annnnd don't forget i need to alter the waist in a bit so yeh. lol
except i'm gonna wait for some time before i alter it, just incase i gain or lose weight and then i have to go back and alter it againnnnnn that'll be so gay.
and i was so in love with the dresses in the shop, i tried on some others that were noice.
one was like gray/silvery and it was a relli nice fit except the straps looked relli weird because they were like curvy kinda and then it made it appear like my fat was bulging out. and also it was a bit tight in that general area.
then i tried on another, and i fell in love with it. it could be like evening AND casual wear. its so pretty and fits me perfectly.
once again, it looks better when worn =P
sorry the pictures make the dresses look relli relli messy and stuff but i'll probably take a picture of me in the dress when its altered (so like november ish)
genius #14: popcorn
despite me hating anything to do with microwaves, i seriously find popcorn so genius.
seriously. from something so innocent and tiny like this:
like wattheheck. thats insane.
so crazy.
and i aboslutely adore kernels (the shop), seriously its like amazing. so many awesum flavours. i looooooooove macho nacho!!! and creamy creamy caramel!! argh there's so many that are just awesum!
from wiki:
Popcorn was first discovered thousands of years ago by the Native Americans. Some tribes believed that the popping noise was that of an angry god who escaped the kernel. The English who came to America in the 16th and 17th centuries learned about popcorn from the Native Americans.
During the Great Depression, popcorn was comparatively cheap at 5-10 cents a bag and became popular. Thus, while other businesses failed, the popcorn business thrived and became a source of income for some struggling farmers. During World War II, sugar rations diminished candy production, causing Americans to eat three times more popcorn than they had before.
