soooo
today is such a chill day; not doing anything, slept in, exercised, watched modern family. love it
yesterday was a long day. i woke up and was still semi sore from squash so i ceebsed exercising. my mum was working from 1-9pm, pretty much perfect timing so i went with her at 12.30 to westfield.
i had some lunch (medium fries from maccas plus random bun things from bread top yay) and got a massage in her massage chairs.
also once i tried the foot massage and i was so intrigued by the way it made my feet and toes move it was hilarious
kay so it's kinda gross because feet are gross and my feet especially look nasty, but yeh it was so funny i dunno.
anyway then at 2.30 i met up with diwan because he wanted to look for pet fish and so we had the list of pet shops in parramatta that we got from truelocal and google maps and we were like OKAY! LET'S GO ALONG CHURCH STREET! then we realised that the addresses of them meant that they were within westfield itself and that all the pet shops were closed already....................................
so then we went to jb hi-fi in church street and myer at westfield.
after looking at random stuff, we bumped into kevin and matt kan on the way to jb hi-fi in westfield, then later we were like OH LET'S SIT IN THE FOOD COURT and diwan was like WELL IF WE SIT IN THE FOODCOURT I HAVE TO EAT SOMETHING so we went looking for food he could eat then we bumped into daniel b who needed to find kevin so we went on an adventure through myer to look for kevin
THEN we did some shopping and i went along to my primary school reunion that turned out such a fail, because there was only like 8 of us. kenneth was actually there because diwan needed to give his laptop (broken by his bro) to kenneth so his dad could fix it up, but kenneth wasn't feeling the reunion so legged it almost immediately.
22/11/2012: Greystanes reunion! Only 8 people showed up and you can't see Lachlan or Andrew in this photo but it was as close to a group shot as we could go. We were eating dinner at Bamboodle before going to watch a movie.
we were deciding on HOUSOS VS AUTHORITY or ARGO. there was a poster of housos and no poster or idea on what argo was about, so the boys wanted to watch housos whilst me and joyce wanted to watch argo. pamela and caroline were indifferent and there was no changing the boys' decisions so we just went with housos.
the boys relli insisted on it being a good film.
but the first scene was shot with a fish eye lens and i was like NOPE THIS IS GOING TO BE TERRIBLE. ten minutes of fish eye lens, intermittent OPENING credits of the make-up artist and set director and everything, dodgy acting, even dodgier directing, a non-existent plot, and some weird rap opening scene thing, and we were out of the cinema.
we ended up going to the cinema right next to us and it so happened to be ARGO.
and it was amazing.
it's about the iranian revolution, where the iranians took over their american embassey, but 6 hostages escaped and were being shelted in the canadian embassey's house. then ben affleck comes along as a spy who helps to free them and bring them back home.
it's a great film, so intense, amazing, emotional and just eurghhhhh amazing.
and ben affleck directed it himself so props to that guy.
it's also based on a true story.
i highly recommend it.
it was worth watching that in the cinemas; it was not worth anything to watch housos.
like seriously, i went in thinking okay if housos is bad then i can just rest and sleep and stuff, don't mind paying like $15.50 for a good rest. oh, except i used my screensaver voucher so it was only $11.50 but still.
anyway yeh that didn't turn out right because the film is just SO NOISY. like you can not at all sleep, lie down, or have any rest whatsoever because of how insane the movie is.
thank gosh we left.
anyway so yeh, after that we called the boys; they said they themselves left about 20 minutes after we did and then went maccas and then home. so it really was terrible.
and then yeah, i went back to my mum's shop and then we went home =]
cool story bro.
anyway so looks like i'm gonna have to organise another reunion because joyce is leaving to hong kong on sunday and no one else will bother to organise it if she's gone. hopefully it can turn out better.
also, i have not yet taken a picture today so that will come up later.
now i'm off to practice my guitaring and read some game of thrones and exercise yay!
